In February 2015 I set up my first saltwater aquarium with the expert help of Theo from my local fish store, Cambridge Coral Tech, which unfortunately closed down in early 2018.
The aim of this website is to share with others my saltwater reef tank. You will be able to find my stock lists, the equipment I use and my water paramaters. You will also be able to find photographs of the aquarium and livestock.
Another aim of this website was for me to develop an aquarium monitor. I got a Raspberry Pi 3 soon after it was released, I initially started using it as a print server, but quickly realised I wanted to learn more about programming so I decided to use it as a web server and an aquarium monitor.
I have no experience in web design or programming,but the web server and aquarium monitor are now up and running. I am using equipment from Atlas Scientific and initially used HydroPi as a guide while I develop it.
